The question for your next presentation should not be if you use ChatGPT, but how you can use it. ChatGPT is great to write for example outlines for your presentation and to generate catchy titles.

Make sure to be specific when using it, so rather than asking "Give me an outline for my presentation on XY" try the following prompt: "In a minute I will ask you to create an outline for my presentation on XY. Ask me 5 questions about my upcoming presentation so that you can provide me the best result." ChatGPT will then ask you questions and will take your answers into consideration. This way you can get very specific when usig it.

Bing Chat

Use Microsoft Bing to combine AI with the power of the internet (as ChatGPT has only information until 2021). It is especially great if you want to conduct some research on your next presentation topic as you can for example specifically ask for whitepapers or online sources.

Bing Chat is also free to use, so you can play around with it and see how it fits into your workflow.

Sharly.ai

After you conducted your research you will probably end up with lots of reading material - either websites or pdf documents. Sharly let's you upload your documents or analyse websites so that you can afterwards ask questions about your documents, ask for summaries or quotes that you want to integrate into your presentation.

Keep in mind that you need to upload your data here to a third-party, so be careful when using this tool for business-related inquiries.

QuillBot

Whenever you have text where you would like to have a second opinion on try QuillBot. This tool will help you to check the Grammar of your text and also offer you options to expand your text or to write it in a different style.

While some features are for premium users only, you can use most of the tool entirely for free without even signing up.

Adobe Firefly

Adobe Firefly is currently the best AI image generator in terms of Ease of Use. While its image-generating AI-model might not be as strong as those of competitors, Adobe has managed to build a very comprehensive interface so that you can control lots of parameters without knowing anything about proper prompt-writing yet.

The tool is also free to use therefore you should definitely experiment with it to understand its potential and limitations.

Midjourney

If you want to achieve the best image quality for AI-generated images there is no way around Midjourney. While their tool is more complex to operate, the results are definitely worth it. 

You can play around with Midjourney for free, nevertheless as soon as you want to integrate it into your regular workflow investing in one of the paid plans might be worth it to benefit from faster rendering times and additional features.

IMGLarger

You have probably come across this problem before: You found the perfect image for your presentation but quality is very poor so you can't use it. 

With IMGLarger there is still a chance for low-quality images to be featured in your presentation. Simply upload the image you want to scale up and IMGLarger will do its magic. You have to create an account to use it but you can stay on their free plan if you don't have too many pictures you need to scale.

Shots.so

Often you will need to include screenshots into your presentation, but by simply pasting them into your slidedeck it won't look too nice. Shots.so is an awesome little tool that will help you to create stunning mockups in seconds and will let you integrate your screens also in device frames.

The best part is, that shots.so comes entirely for free and not even a signup is needed.

Khroma

Whenever you need a color palette for your presentation you should give Khroma a Go. This tool provides color palettes based on predefined colors from you. The process is slightly more tedious than with other tools (check out coolors.co for a fast solution) but provides more recommendations afterwards.

The tool is free to use and you don't need to register, so it is definitely worth a try.

PowerPoint Rehearsal Coach

After you finished your presentation you can now practice your presentation in PowerPoint and have your talk analysed by a Microsoft AI. It will give you insights on your pace, pitch of voice and use of filler words.

You will find "Rehearse with Coach" within the slideshow menu in PowerPoint.

Tome.app

Tome is a refreshing and 100% AI based take on presentation design. By simply entering a prompt, Tome will produce entire presentations for you that you only need to customize.

While the tool is still in an early stage, it will be interesting to see where this is going.

Pitch.com AI

Pitch.com is a new kind of presentation software from the founders of Wunderlist. They recently implemented AI for their tool as well, so that you can start any new presentation with just a prompt and the tool will come up with an initial structure.
As with other AI tools, this solution is still in an early development stage but will be interesting to observe.
